Our pupils have been learning all about 2D shapes, with a special focus on quadrilaterals and triangles. To bring the topic to life, we used elastic bands and shape boards to create and explore different shapes. Everyone enjoyed discussing the features of each shape—like the number of sides, angles, and symmetry—and working together to identify and name them. It was a fun and interactive way to deepen our understanding of geometry!
