This afternoon we welcomed Ellianna's Mum, her Granny and little sister, Florence, into our class.  Ellianna's Mum, Sarah, told us about her job as a Health Visitor.  It was interesting to hear all the jobs she has to do with little babies.  

Ellianna's Granny, Jane, lives on the Island of Tiree, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.  As part of our World Book Week celebrations, Jane read us a Katie Morag story.  She explained how she knew Mairi Hedderwick, the author of this story, very well as she lived on the neighbouring island of Coll.  Thank you so much Jane for telling us all about life on the island - fascinating!
