Celebrating 'Outdoor Learning Day' - 22 May 2019
12/04/19 Many thanks to the members of The Hub who organised an Easter Hunt for us. We loved it!!
11/04/19 This morning we enjoyed a lovely walk in Gosford, looking for signs of Spring.
09/04/19 Today we released our butterflies into the conservation area. It was lovely to be able to hold some of them before they flew away. It was just amazing to watch our little caterpillars grow and change. We celebrated this afternoon with a 'Butterfly Party'
05/04/19 SUPER EXCITED! Today we were able to watch four of our painted lady butterflies emerge from their cocoons. Just one more to go!
05/04/19 Sincere thanks to Austin's Mum for coming in to our class this morning. Not only did she educate us on the lifecycle of the butterfly but she helped us to make 'caterpillar twists' which were really yummy. Thank you Sue
This morning (04/04/19) we had the opportunity to enjoy a story in the library van which visited school. Many thanks to John, the librarian for being so patient with us!
Thank you to Charlie's Mum for bringing two fluffy chicks in to our classroom. They got lots of cuddles and we enjoyed Charlie telling us all about them.
SUPER EXCITED!! We have cocoons! To date we have four and just this afternoon (Wednesday 20th March) our final caterpillar has begun the process. Looking forward to our 'Butterfly Party'.
Today (Friday 15th March) we said a fond farewell to Miss Baird. She has spent three and a half weeks in our class on teaching practice. We have thoroughly enjoyed having her and want to wish her all the very best for the futue. We really will miss you, Miss Baird.
