Over the past two days, we have been busy 'treating' ourselves to some Halloween fun!
First, we made masks (not scary ones) so we could surprise the "cookers" in the dining hall! Mrs Black's classroom was filled with Spidermen and Princesses!
Next, we made chocolate apples covered in an array of sprinkles! Poor Mrs Freeburn - our classroom floor looked like a glitter ball had exploded!! Ooops!
Finally, we had a great chat about Halloween words. We also talked about how Halloween is not a time to be really scared as it is all fiction - the settings, the characters and the stories. What we must remember is to be safe if out in the dark, playing with sparklers or watching fireworks.
Have a great holiday everyone!
