Our Spring Scenes
Cherry trees
stand guard
on pavements,
unclench
their fists,
hold out
handfuls of
blossom
to explode
like party poppers
in the sun.

Spring arrived in Room 5 in April! Our walk in Gosford Forest Park looking for signs of Spring started our topic.
We have been busy looking at life cycles, writing poems, making flowers, kites and finger painting Spring pictures. There were varying degrees of success when we planted runner beans. Luke's looked like it was the one from "Jack and the beanstalk" since it grew so tall!
Roooms 4 and 5 had a homework project to create a 3d garden/country scene. The variety and quality of work was amazing. Take a peak.
