Hockey

Since 2010 every child in Markethill PS plays hockey! The P1-3 children receive coaching from the Armagh Hockey Development Officer, Christine Russell, in basic hockey skills.

P4-7 enjoy taking part in 'Stick Stars', again coached by Christine!

A hockey development club is held on a Monday after school by Mrs McCool for P5-7 children. The girls and boys squads train from 3.15-4pm  at Markethill High School.
