Our Visit To The Palace Stables

On Friday 12th October we visited the Palace Stables. We visited the stables, the dining room, the church, the ice house and the whistling tunnel. Last, but most exciting of all, we went to school in a Victorian school room. Mrs Wilson had a cane. We wrote on a slate and recited our tables. We did some drill in the classroom. Mrs Wilson checked our hands to see if they were clean. She asked us to bring turf for the fire the following Monday.
