Our Visit to the Palace Stables

Today we visited the Palace Stables. We played games that children would have played over 100 years ago. We went into an old schoolroom where Mr Armstrong was our teacher. He was very strict. Later we helped the butler sort old objects into boxes. Then we followed clues in a trail to the church, a sun dial, a glasshouse and the whistling tunnel. We enjoyed our day and learned lots about life around 1890.
