On Thursday 26 September 2019, MPS is participating in the European Day of Languages. Each year group will be participating in different activities related to a European country. We are particularly focusing on European countries that some of our children have links with, such as Poland, Bulgaria and Portugal.
Some of the activities will include learning greetings in different languages, singing 'Happy Birthday' in French, counting to 10 in different languages, having some parents in to talk to the children about the country they come from, learning about different foods and having the opportunity to sample some of these. P6 and P7 are hosting a shared breakfast with foods from France, Germany and Portugal. This is a great opportunity to celebrate our own and other cultures.
